2 Case Workers – Protection (Mobile Roving Team)

MSD is launching a new project aimed at strengthening social connectedness and improving access to protection services for vulnerable communities. To support the implementation of project activities, MSD is seeking to recruit 2 Protection Case Workers to join its mobile roving team, providing protection and case management support inside and outside displacement shelters and community locations. The Case Workers will report to the Project Coordinator. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide protection case management to vulnerable individuals and families, including displaced persons and conflict-affected populations.
  • Identify and support GBV and Child Protection (CP) cases, ensuring safe, confidential, and survivor-centered responses.
  • Conduct needs assessments and vulnerability screenings for beneficiaries.
  • Develop and follow up on individual case plans in coordination with relevant service providers.
  • Provide information, guidance, and referrals to available services (legal, health, psychosocial, protection, and other humanitarian services).
  • Conduct outreach and support activities inside shelters and community locations as part of the mobile team.
  • Maintain accurate case documentation, follow-up, and reporting in line with protection standards.
  • Ensure all activities follow Do-No-Harm, confidentiality, and safeguarding principles.

 

Requirements

  • Degree in Social Work.
  • Previous experience in protection case management, GBV, child protection, or humanitarian programming.
  • Experience working with NGOs or community-based programs is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of protection principles, ethics, PSEA, and safeguarding standards.
  • Ability to work with vulnerable populations in sensitive contexts.
