EASE Facilitator

Key Responsibilities

1. Facilitation of EASE Sessions

  • Deliver structured EASE group sessions for adolescents following the approved curriculum and facilitation guidelines.
  • Facilitate safe, inclusive, and participatory learning environments for adolescents.
  • Support participants in developing skills related to emotional regulation, stress management, problem-solving, and communication.
  • Ensure adherence to the EASE methodology and session plans.

2. Participant Support

  • Build trust and positive relationships with adolescent participants.
  • Monitor participants' well-being and identify those requiring additional psychosocial support.
  • Refer participants to specialized services when necessary according to the referral pathway.

3. Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain accurate attendance sheets and session documentation.
  • Prepare brief session reports and share updates with the project team.
  • Contribute to monitoring and evaluation activities, including feedback collection from participants.

 

4. Safeguarding and Protection

  • Ensure that all activities adhere to child safeguarding and protection policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect the dignity and privacy of participants.
  • Immediately report any safeguarding concerns through the established reporting mechanisms.

5. Coordination

  • Coordinate with project staff and community focal points to ensure smooth implementation of sessions.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, supervision sessions, and capacity-building activities.
  • Support outreach activities when needed to ensure adequate participation.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, or a related field.
  • Previous EASE Training
  • Previous experience working with children, adolescents, or youth programs.
  • Experience in facilitation of group activities or psychosocial support programs is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of MHPSS or emotional well-being approaches is an asset.
