We are looking for Social Workers (2 positions) to provide direct support to internally displaced persons (IDPs) by assessing needs, facilitating access to services, and delivering psychosocial support inside and outside collective shelters.
Position details:
Agreement duration: 6 months
Salary range: 1000 to 1150 USD subject to NSSF and MOF withholdings
Ability to operate in: Batroun, Koura, Zgharta, and Tripoli

Main Tasks:
- Case Management for CP, GBV and persons at heightened risks
- Conduct assessments to identify social, emotional, and protection needs of individuals and families
- Develop and implement case plans, ensuring appropriate referrals to health, education, protection, and livelihood services
- Monitor progress and follow up with beneficiaries to ensure continuity of care
Psychosocial Support
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to promote emotional well-being and resilience inside and outside the collective shelters
Protection desk
- Handle protection desk inside the collective sites
- Provide psychological first aid, assessing protection trends
- Identify individuals at heightened risks and linking them to services through the referral pathways
- Conduct GBV safety audit for the collective sites
- Coordination, documentation and reporting
- Collaborate with local authorities, NGOs, and community-based organizations to strengthen referral pathways
- Maintain accurate records of cases, activities, and referrals
- Prepare regular reports highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations
- Document success stories and lessons learned for program improvement
Requirements:
- Degree in social work, psychology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
- Experience in case management (CP and/or GBV) and working with vulnerable individuals and families
- Strong understanding of confidentiality, survivor-centered and child-centered approaches, and safe referrals
- Ability to work inside and outside collective shelters and coordinate with multiple stakeholders
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of national referral pathways and coordination mechanisms for protection services
- Strong assessment, communication, and counseling skills (individual and group)
- Ability to identify risks, document cases accurately, and manage sensitive information securely
- Strong reporting and documentation skills, including maintaining clear case files and activity records
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and contribute to a supportive team environment
