Horizon Craft project funded by Interreg Next MED is designed to bridge the gap between youth skills and labor market demands within the EU-MED region. The project focuses on empowering youth and strengthening the capacity of (MSMEs) to provide high-quality mentorship through structured internships.
The selected expert will be responsible for designing and developing the project's core educational resources. This includes creating two distinct training curricula: one focused on enhancing youth employability and entrepreneurship, and another designed to train company tutors in professional mentoring and coaching.
The expert will work under the direct supervision of MIDAL to deliver the following:
Deliverable 1: Youth Training Kit
- Needs Analysis: Conduct a National Workshop to identify specific regional skill gaps.
- Curriculum Development: Develop a comprehensive curriculum consisting of 15 modules covering soft skills, technical skills, future-oriented skills, and intercultural learning.
- Versatility: Ensure content is suitable for both formal and non-formal educational environments.
Deliverable 2: Tutors’ Training Kit
- Gap Assessment: Design a detailed questionnaire to identify current SME mentoring capacities and needs.
- Module Development: Develop 10 interactive modules (micro-lessons) for tutors, focusing on mentoring, coaching, and supporting interns during their mobility periods.
Deliverable 3: Session Outlines
- Implementation Guides: Prepare detailed session outlines to guide the execution of three capacity-building pilots in Lebanon, Italy, and Egypt.
4. Technical Requirements
- Pedagogical Approach: Content must integrate non-formal education methodologies to ensure it is interactive and accessible to youth with fewer opportunities.
- Transnational Relevance: Resources must be adaptable and replicable across different EU-MED contexts (Lebanon, Italy, and Egypt).
- Language: The primary draft must be produced in English. The expert will coordinate with MIDAL for the translation of modules into Arabic.
- Layout Coordination: Work with graphic designers to ensure the final digital format is user-friendly and compatible with the project’s technical platform.
5. Qualifications and Expertise
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in Entrepreneurship Education and youth empowerment programs.
- Demonstrated expertise in SME mentoring and professional capacity building.
- Prior experience working with EU-funded projects (e.g., Interreg, ENI CBC Med).
- Strong research proficiency in conducting needs analyses and impact measurements.

- Duration: The development of the curricula is scheduled to be completed within a 2-month period.

Technical Proposal: A comprehensive methodology outlining the development of a total of 25 training modules, clearly structured into:
- 15 modules on entrepreneurship.
- 10 modules dedicated to tutor training
Financial Proposal: A detailed cost breakdown in line with the project’s subcontracting limits.
Portfolio: Relevant samples of previously developed educational materials, training modules, or curricula demonstrating expertise in similar assignments.
