ROAA is seeking experienced Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Facilitator to support our emergency response activities in vulnerable communities. Facilitator will work closely with our team to provide psychosocial support, awareness sessions, and protection activities for affected populations, particularly women and girls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct GBV awareness and prevention sessions for IDPs in line with ROAA’s emergency response plan.
- Provide psychosocial support and safe referral guidance.
- Collaborate with field team to identify needs and ensure effective delivery of activities.
- Document and report activities accurately to the program coordinator.
Requirements:
- Experience in GBV response, psychosocial support, or related social work.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills.
- Commitment to confidentiality and ethical handling of sensitive information.
- Ability to work in emergency and displacement settings.

Education Degree Details
A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, Sociology, or a related field is required, while a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is considered an added advantage. Candidates with additional certifications or specialized training in Gender-Based Violence (GBV), Psychosocial Support (PSS), or protection programming are strongly preferred. Familiarity with international GBV standards and guidelines is highly desirable.
