Position Summary:
Peace of Art is seeking a highly skilled and creative Digital Creator / Graphic Designer to join our team and support the organization’s digital communication and visual storytelling efforts.
The selected candidate will be responsible for creating engaging and high-quality content for social media platforms, website, and digital campaigns, ensuring alignment with Peace of Art’s mission, values, and professional standards. This role requires a creative mindset, strong technical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with communications and program teams in a remote environment.
This position offers flexible working hours and follows a results-oriented approach, focusing on outputs and quality rather than fixed working hours.
This role is suitable for freelancers and individuals who may have other professional commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and produce high-quality visual content for social media, digital campaigns, and organizational publications, including graphics, reels, videos, and animations
- Edit photos and videos to ensure professional, engaging, and consistent visual storytelling
- Collaborate with the communications team to conceptualize creative campaigns, ensuring alignment with organizational branding and messaging
- Maintain the organization’s digital assets library, ensuring all files are organized, high-quality, and accessible
- Support live or recorded event coverage through photography and videography when needed
- Assist in designing templates for reports, presentations, promotional materials, and educational content
- Stay updated with trends in digital media, social media, and multimedia storytelling to continually improve content quality and engagement
- Ensure all produced content meets ethical, cultural, and organizational standards, including proper consent for imagery of individuals, particularly children and beneficiaries
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in graphic design and digital content creation, preferably within NGOs, creative agencies, or media production
- Demonstrated expertise in photography, video production, editing, and post-production
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other relevant software
- Strong understanding of digital media formats, including social media content, reels, infographics, and interactive visuals
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, with the ability to produce professional content and copy
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a remote work setting
- Creative mindset with attention to detail, strong visual storytelling ability, and problem-solving skills
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in motion graphics, animation, or infographic creation
- Experience working in multicultural or humanitarian contexts
- Knowledge of Arabic language content creation and digital media trends in the local region
- Understanding of ethical standards and consent in visual communication involving children and vulnerable populations
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Additional Requirements:
- Candidates must have reliable internet access and the ability to work remotely while maintaining effective communication with the team
- Availability for occasional coordination meetings as needed
