ORIENTATE Project – Hiring Technical Experts in Lebanon

The Planning and Development Agency (PDA), as partner in the EU-funded ORIENTATE project under the Interreg NEXT MED Programme, is seeking to recruit two Technical Experts in Lebanon.

The selected experts will contribute to technical knowledge transfer, pilot support, monitoring, training, and stakeholder coordination activities related to circular economy solutions in the agricultural sector, particularly in the areas of agricultural waste valorisation and pilot scaling-up activities.

Responsibilities include:
– Participation in Job Shadowing activities in Italy and Spain
– Technical assessment and transferability analysis of observed technologies and practices
– Support to pilot implementation, monitoring, and validation activities
– Contribution to training and knowledge transfer activities
– Support to stakeholder coordination, sustainability, and scaling-up discussions

Priority will be given to experts with relevant institutional, technical, or sectoral experience related to public institutions, sectoral authorities, agricultural or industrial administrations, or policy-related technical fields connected to the project themes.
