Description:
Duties & Resonsibilities:
1. Session Planning and Preparation
- Collaborate with the organizing team to understand event objectives, agenda, and participant profiles.
- Design and plan interactive sessions that align with event goals.
- Conduct pre-event preparations, including preparing materials, discussion points, and activities.
2. Facilitation of Sessions
- Conduct Social Emotional Learning sessions, LEGO activities, and play-based learning inside the shelters/centers.
- Facilitate engaging and inclusive sessions during each event.
- Moderate discussions, manage time effectively, and ensure all participants have an opportunity to contribute safely and freely.
- Adapt facilitation style and approach based on the dynamics and needs of each event.
- Encourage participant interaction, feedback, and reflection throughout the events.
Competencies:
- Ability to deliver EiE sessions in shelters and community spaces;
- strong facilitation and classroom management;
- ability to create safe and inclusive learning environments;
- understanding of child protection principles;
- experience engaging displaced children;
- basic PSS and SEL integration;
