Data Management

•  Develop and implement data collection and management strategies for the Qurbani project to ensure accuracy, completeness, and data security.
• Design and oversee secure data storage, retrieval, and sharing procedures in compliance with organizational policies and data protection regulations.
• Manage, clean, and validate large data sets related to beneficiary lists, slaughterhouse outputs, meat pack tracking, and distribution records.
• Develop and maintain databases, dashboards, and reporting tools to support data driven decision-making for the Qurbani project.
• Assist in the preparation of regular and ad hoc reports for internal and external stakeholders, including donor reports on Qurbani activities.
• Identify trends and insights through data analysis to inform program planning and decision-making during the Qurbani season.
• Provide technical support and training to Qurbani project staff on data management and reporting tools.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of data systems, recommending improvements where necessary.
• Troubleshoot data related issues and coordinate with IT and relevant teams for resolution.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, donor requirements, and legal standards regarding data management and privacy.
• Support the development of data visualization tools, dashboards, and digital data gathering mechanisms for the Qurbani project.
• Collaborate with program and M&E teams to enhance data collection methodologies and reporting structures specific to Qurbani activities.
• Maintain documentation of data management procedures, ensuring consistency and adherence to best practices.
• Facilitate internal and external data audits by providing required data and documentation.
• Stay up to date with emerging data management technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data management, analysis, or a related role, preferably working with large data sets.
• Experience with humanitarian or seasonal projects (e.g., Qurbani, food distribution, or emergency response) is a strong plus.
• Proficiency in database management and digital data collection tools.
• Understanding of Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) principles, including results-based management and qualitative/quantitative data methodologies.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to train and support staff in data management processes and systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
• Knowledge of data security protocols and confidentiality requirements.
• Availability to start immediately and work during the Eid al-Adha.
