Purpose of the role
Designs and facilitates women‑focused empowerment activities in safe, inclusive and supportive spaces.
Key responsibilities (summary)
- Design and facilitate women‑led empowerment sessions and mothers’ circles in collaboration with women‑led initiatives and cultural spaces.
- Ensure sessions are gender‑sensitive, trauma‑informed and compliant with PSEA and safeguarding standards.
- Contribute to monitoring women’s participation, feedback and outcomes.
Profile
- Experience facilitating activities with women and girls (e.g. empowerment, psychosocial support, livelihoods or similar).
- Solid understanding of gender equality, protection and safeguarding principles.
- Strong facilitation and active‑listening skills; ability to create safe and respectful group spaces.
