Shelter & WASH Enumerator-South & Beirut Mount Lebanon

The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is a non-governmental, humanitarian organization with 60 years of experience in helping to create a safer and more dignified life for refugees and internally displaced people. NRC advocates for the rights of displaced populations and offers assistance within the shelter, education, emergency food security, legal assistance, and water, sanitation and hygiene sectors.

Activities Overview/Summary:

The main purpose of an Enumerator is to support the shelter and WASH team in their daily field and office activities.

Activities:

1- The volunteer will be responsible for conducting Cash for Shelter assessments through both door-to-door visits and phone interviews, as required, to ensure accurate data collection. He/she will also be responsible for completing electronic assessments using the KOBO platform.

2- He/she will be responsible for Conduct multi-sectoral need assessments in areas experiencing new displacements.

3- He/she will be responsible for Distribution of Basic Assistance Kits, WASH-related kits, and other emergency-related supplies.

4- He/she will be responsible for Distribution efforts will encompass NRC areas of intervention including border areas, Palestinian camps and gatherings, ISs, and collective shelters.

5- Identify and refer protection cases, as well as any other cases in need of support.

6- Submit daily reports on activities and findings.

Qualifications and Relevant Skills:

· Bachelor’s degree in social science or equivalent.

· Proficiency in MS Office.

· Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.

· Experience in working with NGOS
