Fair Trade Lebanon (FTL) is a Lebanese non-profit organization, founded in 2006 and a guaranteed member of the World Fair Trade Organization (WFTO). FTL works with rural cooperatives and small producers across Lebanon to support sustainable livelihoods, strengthen the agro-food value chain, and promote fair trade principles.

The PERMASOIL project, implemented by Fair Trade Lebanon in the Bekaa region, promotes sustainable agriculture and climate change adaptation through permaculture and agroecology practices. The project empowers farmers, youth, and local communities by providing hands-on training, awareness sessions, and practical demonstrations on eco-friendly farming techniques, water management, and soil regeneration. As part of the initiative, demonstration plots were established to showcase agroecology and permaculture techniques in practice, encouraging farmers and young people to adopt sustainable farming approaches and improve long-term agricultural resilience. By strengthening climate resilience and fostering inclusive participation, particularly among women and vulnerable groups, PERMASOIL contributes to building a more sustainable and resilient agricultural sector in Lebanon.
