The Good Shepherd Sisters are seeking a dedicated and organized Project Coordinator to join our Primary Healthcare Center (PHC) team.
The Project Coordinator will oversee the planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) activities within the PHC. The role involves coordinating with healthcare providers, partners, and community stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of quality mental health services and the achievement of project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate the implementation of mental health programme activities in accordance with approved work plans, timelines, and project objectives
• Monitor project progress and ensure the timely achievement of targets and deliverables
• Support the integration of mental health and psychosocial support services within the PHC
• Coordinate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals involved in programme activities
• Organize trainings, workshops, awareness sessions, and community outreach activities related to mental health
• Ensure proper documentation, data collection, and reporting in line with organizational and donor requirements
• Prepare narrative reports, activity reports, and project updates as required
• Support monitoring and evaluation activities, including data analysis and indicator tracking
• Coordinate referrals and collaboration with external service providers and community organizations
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, donor regulations, confidentiality standards, and quality-of-care requirements
• Identify implementation challenges and propose corrective actions to improve programme performance
• Participate in programme development, planning, and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Healthcare Management, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s degree is an asset)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in project coordination, preferably within healthcare, mental health, humanitarian, or development programmes
• Experience working with mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) programmes is highly desirable
• Experience with donor-funded projects and reporting requirements is an asset
• Strong organizational, coordination, and reporting skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data management tools
• Ability to work within multidisciplinary and multicultural teams
