Grants Acquisition and Reporting Manager

Purpose of the Role

  • Identify and secure funding opportunities aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Identify and lead proposal development and ensure timely, high-quality submissions.
  • Ensure donor compliance, accountability, and quality reporting.
  • Strengthen relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Grants Management & Fundraising

  • Identify funding opportunities from donors, foundations, UN agencies, INGOs, and other institutions.
  • Maintain and regularly update a donor and funding opportunities database.
  • Coordinate and draft:
    • Grant proposals
    • Concept notes
    • Expressions of Interest (EOIs)
    • Letters of Intent (LOIs)
  • Collaborate with Program, Finance, and PMEAL teams to gather technical and financial information for submissions.
  • Track submission deadlines, donor requirements, and funding cycles.
  • Manage grant agreements, reporting schedules, budgets, and compliance obligations.
  • Ensure proposals and reports align with donor regulations and organizational standards.
  • Support the development of internal grant management procedures and tools.
  • Maintain strong communication and relationships with donors and partners.
  • Attend and follow up the working groups to follow up the grants’ opportunities and updates, particularly the PSEA and AAP committees.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Business Administration, International Development, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in grants management, proposal writing, donor reporting, and humanitarian or development programs.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong proposal writing, reporting, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, people management, and coaching abilities.
  • Knowledge of donor regulations, systems, safeguarding, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent operational planning, systems management, and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Advanced budgeting, analytical, and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and other data management and reporting tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure and in complex environments.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and spoken Arabic and English.

Working Conditions:  

  • Full-time job, 5 days/week, 8 hours per day  
  • On-site with regular field visits  
  • Frequent travel to project locations as required  
  • May require flexibility during emergency response periods, including weekends or extended hours  
  • Work in diverse operational and field environments 

Reporting: They will report daily to the Director of Programs.
