MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical Supervision & Documentation
- Provide weekly clinical supervision sessions (individual) to the assigned intern/s.
- Review, provide feedback on, and sign off on clinical notes and documentation in a timely and compliant manner.
- Ensure interns’ clinical work adheres to ethical, legal, and professional standards, as well as Embrace policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the Clinical Director through regular meetings to:
- Discuss intern progress and training needs
- Address clinical risk, complex cases, and escalation procedures
- Contribute to the development and refinement of training guidelines and protocols
- Support interns in developing:
- Case formulation and treatment planning skills
- Evidence-based intervention skills
- Professional boundaries, self-reflection, and clinical judgment
- Provide written feedback and brief evaluation summaries on interns’ performance at agreed intervals.
DELIVERABLES
The Clinical Supervisor is expected to provide:
- 4 individual supervision sessions per month (1 hour each)
- Completed documentation as required by the program
- Ongoing communication regarding therapist performance and clinical concern
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology.
- Current license/registration to practice as a clinical psychologist/therapist in Lebanon.
- Minimum of 10 years of clinical experience.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical supervision of trainees, interns, or early-career clinicians.
- Strong grounding in evidence-based practice (e.g., CBT, psychodynamic, integrative approaches—adjust as relevant for Embrace).
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teaching/mentoring skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting and to provide clear, constructive feedback.

REPORTING LINES
The Clinical Supervisor reports to the Director of the Clinical training Program and is in close coordination with the Clinics Programs Manager.
TIME COMMITMENT
4 supervisions session per month
