Senior Facilities Operations Officer

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management

  • Manage daily facilities operations including cleaning, housekeeping, and campus readiness.
  • Ensure all university spaces are maintained in a clean, functional, and operationally ready condition.
  • Monitor service performance and enforce operational standards.

Logistics & Event Support

  • Plan and supervise logistics for academic and institutional events.
  • Ensure timely setup, execution, and breakdown of events.
  • Coordinate requirements with faculties and administrative units.

Transportation Management

  • Supervise drivers and manage transportation operations.
  • Optimize vehicle usage and scheduling efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures.

Team Leadership & Supervision

  • Lead and supervise operational staff.
  • Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure productivity.
  • Enforce discipline, attendance, and service standards.

Service Quality & Performance Control

  • Monitor service quality and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Resolve operational issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards and procedures.

Emergency & ICS Support

  • Support emergency response operations within ICS framework.
  • Ensure team readiness and participation in drills.
  • Coordinate with relevant units during incidents.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities operations, logistics, or service management.
  • Experience supervising multi-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a university, hospital, or similarly complex institutional environment.
  • Familiarity with CAFM or facilities management platforms.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.

Working Conditions:

  • Field and office-based role across campus facilities.
  • Requires active on-site presence and operational supervision.
  • Availability during events and emergency situations.
