With over a decade of diverse and progressive experience in human resources, talent acquisition, and organizational development across the humanitarian and development sectors, I am now transitioning from full-time leadership roles to project-based consultancy work, where I can offer targeted, results-driven support to organizations seeking HR expertise.
In my current role as Regional Human Resources Director for MENA and Europe at Mercy Corps, I lead regional HR strategy, workforce planning, and change management initiatives across multiple countries. I have previously served in various senior roles with International Medical Corps, including as Senior Manager for HR Emergency Response and Preparedness and Senior Manager for the Misconduct Disclosure Scheme (MDS), where I developed global HR systems, led emergency deployments, and ensured compliance with international standards such as GDPR and safeguarding protocols.
Throughout my career, I have designed and implemented HR frameworks, performance management systems, and recruitment strategies for high-pressure, multi-cultural environments. I bring a deep understanding of both policy-level advisory work and hands-on operational HR delivery. I also hold certifications in Project Management for Development Professionals (PMD Pro) and Data Protection (CDPO), and am fluent in Arabic and English, and very good knowledge of French.
