I worked recently with UN-ESCWA as a national consultant to put the foundational phase for panning social and economic Interventions in selected conflict-affected areas in south Lebanon. Prior to that I worked with UNDP Lebanon for 5 years between July 2019 and December 2024. First, I served as a field coordinator between July 2019 and Mid 2021, and then as a senior socioeconomic officer until December 2024. During those years of experience, I was working on responding to the multi-layered crisis affecting Lebanon and communities at local level. The types of interventions and support were focusing on reducing tension at local level by establishing sustainable solutions to critical basic services and livelihoods sectors.
Prior to my UNDP experience, I was employed by two INGOs namely the American Near East Refugee Aid (ANERA) and the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC). During those years of experience (5 years), I was working at the field level to implement projects related to social protection and safeguards as well as livelihoods opportunities to youth affected by the Syrian crisis.
