Short Bio
I am a Disaster Risk Management and Wildfire Resilience Consultant with over eight years of experience in climate adaptation, ecosystem restoration, and institutional strengthening in Lebanon. My work focuses on developing risk-informed strategies, supporting public institutions and municipalities, and improving environmental governance systems. I specialize in translating technical frameworks into practical tools that enhance preparedness, operational planning, and long-term resilience in fragile contexts.
Experience with the Civil Society
My engagement with civil society has centered on strengthening local capacities for preparedness, coordination, and participatory planning. I have collaborated with International & Lebanese NGOs, community-based organizations, and volunteer networks to deliver training programmes, facilitate multi-stakeholder dialogue, and support the development of community-led initiatives. This work has involved coaching local actors, supporting grassroots structures, and contributing to collective efforts that promote accountability, social cohesion, and locally owned solutions in crisis-affected areas.
