Minwal Theatre Company And Cultural Association

Minwal Theatre Company and Cultural Association founded by a group of Lebanese professional artists contributing to the Lebanese theatrical and cultural community. Our aim is to enhance performing arts in the Lebanese society through its institutions. We find that activating regions in Lebanon culturally and artistically is the key to recover the concern of decentralizing cultural life.
Minwal is a continuation of Twin Collective that was established in Saida 2012 by Jad Hakawati and Roaa Bzeih. Twin Collective and Twin Studio worked on theatre performances in Beirut and South in collaboration with professional artists, youth, NGO's and cultural instituions to revive theatre outside the center. They have decided to broaden their work and expand the team and established Minwal with Assil Ayyash, an arts manager and theatre maker. 
Coming from different backgrounds, we, the founders of the association, are specialized in theatre making, drama facilitating and arts managing that enriches the quality of projects addressed to audiences of all ages, coming from different backgrounds and environments. Our association is well aware of the fact that reviving the theatre culture is done by having new formable multidisciplinary approaches.
