"Together For a Safe Childhood" (TFSC) is a non-profit association established in Lebanon in 2010. TFSC has dedicated its mission to the personal safety of children. Its primary goal is to initiate, promote and assist any action related to children’s safety, from the prevention, detection and treatment of violence and sexual abuse to the spread of effective safety measures.

ObjectivesTFSC works towards achieving the following operational objectives:- Deliver programs, workshops, trainings and discussion sessions to increaseawareness and implementation of children’s personal safety and reduce their riskof abuse and exploitation.- Maintain comprehensive data on the latest trends in child victimization anddevelop/publish official reports- Provide consultancy and counseling in many forms, whether for children, parents,professionals, teachers or caregivers. 3. Services OverviewThe center offers the following services:1. Training and prevention programs:The center is made of a group of qualified trainers whose expertise covers all the center’s programs. The center is qualified to meet the training needs of a diverse group of beneficiaries.2. Development of training materials:The center develops tailored training manuals and packages that cover various areas includ-ing children safety and parent/professional empowerment.3. Consultancy:The center offers crisis intervention, support after trauma, general counseling, and case man-agement for abused and maltreated children and their parents. TFSC has established the following 4 child abuse prevention programs that focus on children’s safety:1. Kidpower:TFSC brought this program from the Kidpower Teenpower Fullpower International™(shortened Kidpower™) which is a charitable educational nonprofit organization founded in Santa Cruz, California. Kidpower’s mission is to teach people of all ages, especially children in need, how to use their power to stay safe, act wisely, and believe in themselves.2. Safety through Arts:A highly interactive program having the objective of finding approachable and artistic ways to teach children to identify and avoid dangerous situations.
