The Learn2Volunteer mobile application, developed under the Erasmus+ funded Learn2Volunteer Reloaded project, offers young people an innovative digital space for volunteering, learning, and community engagement. Through interactive micro-learning modules, mentoring support, digital badges, and a GIS map of civic initiatives, the platform empowers youth to develop skills, access volunteering opportunities, and become active contributors to positive social change across the region.

This manifesto, prepared y the National Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (NCEI Lebanon – Reg. #2220, Beirut 2017), serves as a radical evolution of our National AI Prospect and Policy Recommendations published in 2025. It codifies the "961AI" Pivot: a strategic transition that moves Lebanon from a state of passive digital consumption to one of active, Sovereign AI Development.

Medrar Foundation organized an awareness session titled “Parenting in Times of Challenges: Balancing Firmness and Emotional Support” at the Al-Masaken Al-Shaabiyya in Tyre. The session brought together local women for an engaging discussion led by Mrs. Batoul Moussa, with the participation of psychotherapist Mrs. Layla Reda Safieddine, founder of Layla Center. Participants received symbolic gifts as a gesture of appreciation.

Mental Health Matters – Awareness Program by Medrar Foundation and LAU Civic Engagement Students In partnership with the Lebanese American University (LAU) Civic Engagement Students, Medrar Foundation launched a community initiative titled “Mental Health Matters.” The program aimed to break the stigma surrounding mental health in Lebanon and to equip individuals—especially youth and parents—with practical coping tools to manage stress, anxiety, and emotional distress during economic and social hardships.

In collaboration with the Lebanese American University’s Civic Engagement students, Medrar Foundation launched an awareness program titled “Health on a Budget”, aimed at educating communities on how to maintain and improve their health through affordable and practical approaches.

Marina Topuskanian embarked in a volunteering journey in Poland. In her article she described her learning and growth journey. A4EP, a global alliance of Southern organisations, the 63rd and the newest signatory,  will ensure GB policy discourses remain centred on affected populations and informed  by the experiences of local actors to strengthen effective, efficient and timely  responses through a nexus approach. A4EP commits to working together with  international actors to address the barriers in establishing equitable partnerships with  local actors. The May 2016 World Humanitarian Summit brought together 9,000 participants. They came from 180
Member States, included 55 Heads of State and Government, 700 NGOs and CSOs, of which 350 national and
local ones, and 250 international ones, 350 representatives of the private sector, 130 representatives of the
UN agencies, funds and programmes and other stakeholders including academia, faith-based leaders, and
media. It was a culmination of an almost a two-years long multi-stakeholder process, costing millions of
dollars.

Qudurat has launched a Small Grants and Accelerator Program, aiming to amplify the social impact of Lebanese NGOs by providing small grants and developing the capabilities of selected NGOs.

The World Humanitarian Summit(WHS) consultation process opened the space for voices of local and national actors about their experience of the global humanitarian system and its impact locally. As part of the preparations for the WHS in 2016, the High-Level Panel on Humanitarian Financing sought solutions to close the humanitarian financing gap. Their report made recommendations to shrink the needs, deepen and broaden the resource base for humanitarian action, and to improve delivery.
