يعرب مركز وصول لحقوق الإنسان (ACHR) عن قلقه البالغ تجاه الإضراب المستمر عن الطعام والذي ينفذه أكثر من مئة معتقل من اللاجئين السوريين في سجن رومية في لبنان. بدأ هذا الإضراب في الحادي عشر من الشهر الجاري شباط/فبراير كوسيلة احتجاج سلمي للمطالبة بعدة مطالب. من بين هذه المطالب تسليم المعتقلين السوريين في لبنان للسلطات السورية الجديدة لإطلاق سراحهم، أو محاكمتهم في سوريا، أو لاستكمال مدة الحكم هناك. كما يطالب المعتقلون، وعلى رأسهم المضربون عن الطعام، بتسليط الضوء على الظروف اللاإنسانية المخالفة للقانون وأوضاع احتجازهم القاسية التي يعانون منها في السجون اللبنانية، كما يطالبون بمعاملة إنسانية كريمة.

Access Center for Human Rights (ACHR) expresses its deep concern about the ongoing hunger strike by over 100 Syrian refugees detained in Roumieh Prison. The hunger strike, which began on February 11, serves as means of peaceful protest to make various demands including that Syrian detainees are handed over to Syrian authorities to either be released, continue to serve their sentences or to face trial in Syria. The detainees have also sought to draw attention to the inhumane and illegal conditions of their detention in Lebanon and demand better treatment.

On 25 November, ACHR released its seventh situational update on the deteriorating conditions of Syrian refugees as the Israeli bombardments of Lebanon continue to escalate.

Since the escalation of the hostilities in Lebanon, approximately 220,000 people are believed to have crossed the border to Syria through both official and unofficial border crossing points.

أطلقت المؤسسة الفلسطينية لحقوق الإنسان (شاهد) تقريرها السنويّ للعام 2023، مسلطةً الضوء على أبرز المستجدات حول واقع اللاجئين الفلسطينيين في لبنان، ومعرجّةً على أوضاعالفلسطينيين في الأراضي الفلسطينية المحتلة. عُني التقرير بعناوين عدّة، أبرزها الأوضاع القانونية للاجئين الفلسطينيين في لبنان، وتقييم لأداء الأونروا خلال عام 2023، إضافة لأوضاع اللاجئين في قطاع غزة في ظل الحرب المستمرة عليهم، وخلص في الختام إلى مجموعة من التوصيات التي من شأنها أن تحسّن من أوضاع اللاجئين الفلسطينيين وتحفظ لهم حقوقهم.

In 2014, Mohammad had arrived Lebanon with his family. He knew later he is wanted by the Syrian Military Forces and Syrian State Security and is wanted as well to do the obligatory Military Service.

On 21 January 2023, Mohammad was arrested at a checkpoint by the Lebanese Army in Chtaura in Beqaa, very close where he lives. He was referred afterward to the Military Court in Beirut.

في عام 2014، وصل محمد إلى لبنان مع عائلته. عرف فيما بعد أنه مطلوب من قبل جهاز الأمن العسكرية السوري وأمن الدولة السوري، ومطلوب أيضاً لأداء الخدمة العسكرية الإجبارية.

في 21 كانون الثاني 2023، أعتقل محمد عند نقطة تفتيش من قبل الجيش اللبناني في شتورة في البقاع، بالقرب من مكان إقامته. وأحيل بعد ذلك إلى المحكمة العسكرية في بيروت.

وبعد سنوات، سجل لدى المفوضية السامية للأمم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين كطالب لجوء. وفي عام 2021 تزوج من سيدة لبنانية.

وفي 25 أيلول 2023، زار فرع الأمن العام في دير عمار شمال لبنان لتجديد إقامته. تم اعتقاله ثم إرساله إلى سراي طرابلس ومن ثم إلى المديرية العامة للأمن العام في بيروت.

وعندما حاول محامي عائلته الاستفسار عن قضيته رفض معلومات الأمن العام الكشف عن أي معلومات عن سبب اعتقاله.

في 10 تشرين الأول 2023، زارته عائلته ولكن عندما غادروا اتصل بعائلته وأخبرهم أن اسمه مدرج على قائمة المبعدين قسراً.

A.S, is a Syrian defected officer. He was serving with Syrian Intelligence forces before he fled to Lebanon in 2014.

Years later, he registered with UNHCR as asylum seeker. In 2021, he married from a Lebanese lady.

On 25 September 2023, he visited the General Security Branch in Deir Ammar, north of Lebanon in order to renew his residency. He was arrested and then sent to Serail Tripoli (Court) and then to the General Directorate of General Security in Beirut.

بتاريخ 3 تشرين الأول 2023، صدر حكم عن محكمة جنايات زحلة بتغريمه عشرين مليون ليرة لبنانية بالإضافة إلى ترحيله إلى سوريا. بتاريخ 6 تشرين الأول 2023، نُقل إلى الأمن العام في زحلة.

ويخشى أن يتم ترحيله إلى سوريا حيث قد يتم القبض عليه تعسفياً ويتعرض للتعذيب.

The case of M.A

M. A, is a Syrian seeker asylum. On 22 September 2023, he was arrested by the Lebanese State Security Forces from his home in Al Rahma Camp in Bekaa, east of Lebanon. He was accused of violating the rules of residency in Lebanon.

On 3 October 2023, a sentence was issued by the Criminal Court of Zahle which fined him with twenty millions of Lebanese Lira in addition to deportation to Syria. On 6 October 2023, he was transferred to General Security in Zahle.

He fears to be deported to Syria where he might be arrested arbitrarily and subjected to torture.

Abdul Hadi Abdul Bari Al-Othman is a Syrian registered as an asylum-seeker with the UNHCR in Lebanon since 2013. He resides in Koura-Tripoli, Lebanon. In May 2023, he was arrested in Tripoli on charges related to theft. On July 20, 2023, the Indictment Chamber in North Lebanon decided to release him. However, he was transferred to the retention center of the General Security in Beirut, and has been detained since then.
