This policy brief was developed as a deliverable in the project “Fair Game: Theatre of the Oppressed for Youth Empowerment” funded by the European Union. It tackles the topic of bullying in schools and offers recommendations drawn from the field experience in Lebanon that focused on the methodology of Legislative Theatre to raise awareness on bullying in schools and advocate for better policies.
Terre des hommes foundation has been present in Lebanon since 1977. We provide life saving child protection assistance to the most vulnerable children and their families regardless of their nationality, ethnic origin and religious affiliation. Through our child protection in migration and access to justice programmes, our staff support victims of physical and sexual abuse, worst forms of child labor, child marriage, severe neglect and children in contact or conflict with the law. We work with children, their families, communities, NGO and UN partners, local authorities and religious leaders .

ترتّب المواطنة على الفرد/ المواطن مجموعة من الحقوق والواجبات التي تطبّق على الجميع، دون أي تمييز قائم على الاختلافات في القومية أو الجنس أو الجهة أو الموقع الاجتماعي أو الدين… وتحدد المواطنة شكل العلاقات التي يقيمها المواطن مع الدولة، والمجتمع، والفضاء المشترك. وفي هذا الجانب الأخير من العلاقات، تبرز أهمية التنمية المستدامة كقضية مواطنية بامتياز.
في هذا الكتيب، تحاول الباحثة الإحاطة بمفهوم التنمية المستدامة، وبعلاقته مع المواطنة، وتفصّل العديد من القضايا البيئية الهامة، ثم تبيّن لنا ما يجب علينا، كمواطنين، فعله حيالها، لنحقق مواطنيتنا، من خلال التزامنا بالحق في البيئة السليمة للجميع....
تم اعتماد “اتفاقية حقوق الطفل” في شهر تشرين الثاني من عام 1989 وعُرضت للتوقيع والتصديق والانضمام بموجب قرار الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة 44/ 25. وغدت نافذة في أيلول 1990، وفقاً للمادة 49. وقد قامت هذه الاتفاقية على فكرة جوهرية مفادها أن “الأطفال قيمة بحد ذاتها تجب حمايتها ورعايتها”.
تركز هذه الدراسة على اتفاقية حقوق الطفل فتشرح موادها وتقدّم أمثلة من الواقع تضيء على أشكال الانتهاكات التي يتعرض لها الأطفال بشكل عام.
