The first toolbox: Conflict Sensitive Cash Assistance in Lebanon aims to support partners to ensure that cash-based assistance does not inadvertently do harm and is conflict sensitive. The July war 2006, lasted 34 days, and led to the displacement of 915,762 (almost 25% of the Lebanese population) persons, relocating into public and private schools all over the country. GVC and YAB have implemented a pilot initiative in 6 public schools in order to provide directors, teachers, special educators and social workers with technical tools and expertise to encourage the inclusion of children with special needs. Almost 60 children have been included in regular classes all along the implementation (2012-2015).
