Completion Of Construction Of A Mini Football Playground

Akkar Network for Development –AND-, a Lebanese non-governmental organization was established in 2011sub number 400/2011. Since its inception, AND worked on three main pillars youth, women and local authorities. Currently, AND is working on a livelihood project in partnership with the International Office of Migration (IOM). AND is in the process of completing the rehabilitation work of a mini football playground located in Amayer village in Wadi Khaled. We are aiming to address this project from two perspectives: 1-Empowering youth with a hand on approach; on the job training. 2-Rehabilitating the playground (Ceiling /Roofing) and constructing a stairway for the playground. The contractor shall supervise the above-mentioned work while contracting 15 youth from the area for a 10 days’ period to support in the work (Remuneration of the 15 workers shall be covered by AND). This call for tenders is conducted using AND's guidelines open to all qualified suppliers and service providers. Please check the below attached document for the list of requested materials and specifications. Bidders shall have an association registration's number and a minimum of five years of experience in this field. Contractor is also requested be to set a working schedule for the 15 beneficiaries mentioned above and ensure the quality of services provided. Any missing document will eliminate the contractors bid. All bids must be submitted no later than the 19th of December 2016 in sealed envelopes at the following address: Halba main road, Christex Bldg (next to Bank Med), 1st floor ATT to Procurement. The selection process will be based on the results / scores of the selection committee members. N.B: Priority is given to experts and/or providers of services from Wadi Khaled area as part of the available development plan of the region.
