Construction of a water tower in Al Qassmieh gathering – South Lebanon The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is an independent, humanitarian, non-profit, non-governmental organization which provides assistance, protection and durable solutions to refugees and internally displaced persons worldwide. NRC is seeking to engage contractor to construct a concrete water tower with all its accessories and connecting it with the existing water network including Demolishing and reconstruction of one damaged shelter in Al Qassmieh Palestinian gathering – Tyre – south Lebanon. The “QASMIEH WATER TOWER PROJECT” project comprises the “Construction, completion and maintenance during the defects liability period of a water towerwith the installation of the inlet and outlet pipes from the main water network and to it. The project locates in QASMIEH Gathering- South Lebanon. This scope of work will be separated as the following: - Part one: Construction of the water tower specification and details. - Part two: Connecting the water tower with the existing water network- Network specification. - Part three: Demolishing and reconstruction of the damaged shelter specification. TENDER PROCESS All interested contractors are requested to attend a site visit at NRC south office (address above) on Tuesday 25th October 2016 at 11:00 AM. No attendance will lead to bid exclusion. All interested firms are requested to submit their offers after site visit in person and not by email in a sealed envelope to NRC Tyre Office (address above) noting that the closing date for submitting the tender is Friday, 04th of November 2016 at 14:00 Hrs.
