Call For Interested Lebanese Registered Civil Society Organizations To Receive Organizational Development Capacity Building And Support

Expand Your Horizons (EYH), a three year USAID-funded project, aims to build the technical and professional capacity of Lebanese organizations and their employees to play a more effective role in their community. This project is made possible by the generous support of the American People through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The project aims to achieve this through: Strengthening the capacity of 150 organizations from various sectors and 400 of their employees in selected core skills and competencies through training and follow-on support activities. Increasing communications and networking among participating organizations and individuals. In order to achieve its goal, EYH is identifying potential partner organizations from the civil society sector.Organizations will be selected based on a preset eligibility criteria. Interested organizations should be registered Lebanese NGOs and show performance track record and sustainability. EYH and partner organizations will identify organizational needs through a self-assessment process covering major components of organizational capacity development and strenghening. EYH will work closely with organizations to develop organizational and individual employee development plans highlighting areas of need for improvement, objectives to be achieved by training, and implement effective applicable follow-on support activities. Trainings will be delivered by highly qualified training providers in Lebanon, the Middle East/North Africa (MENA) region, and/or the US and Europe based on the needs identified in the assessment process and translated into the Organizational and Individual Development plans. Number of organizations to be selected is limited! Interested applicants are advised to send a one page letter of interest indicating: - Name of organization and contact information, - Mission and Scope of Work of Organization, - Brief Description of Organization Activities, - Size of orgnization in terms of staffing, and - Geographic Coverage.
