Wash & Relief Project Manager

Basmeh and Zeitooneh is seeking to implement multiple relief and WASH programs among the communities most affected by the Syrian conflict. Detailed Responsibilities & Tasks: -      Organizes periodic and rapid need assessments on urgent WASH and Relief needs. -      Relays key information regarding needs and strategies for new projects to the development department and work closely with this department and the Director to develop project proposals for donors. -      Designs detailed work plans for WASH and Relief programs in coordination with the technical field staff and in accordance with donor requirements. -      Monitors the implementation of the work plans and manage plan changes and modifications. -      Ensures timely project implementation and the implementation of all activities, scope of work and budget in compliance with donor contracts and the agreed upon work plan. -      Provides weekly context update reports to the Country Director. -      Monitors the work through regular reporting; ensures the project team produces reports and key project documentation (case notes and reports, notes of the meeting, project visit reports, activities reports, and photos). -      Provides monthly and final progress reports with the relevant supporting documents to the Senior Partnerships Officer. -      Ensures team performs according to B&Z standard practices and relevant codes of conduct. -      Provides training, guidance, and support to the field staff to effectively perform their duties and promotes a strong team spirit. Revises adapts and provides inputs to training materials as considered appropriate with regard to changing contexts. -      Attends meetings and ensures that mapping of actors and stakeholders in the areas of work is up to date; coordinates with relevant stakeholders.   Qualifications: -      Bachelor degree in Management or relevant field (Social Science, Water resource management, Engineering, Development Studies, Business Administration) -      2 years of experience in a related field -      Strong knowledge of project cycle management and relevant tools, processes and systems; certification in project management desired -      Strong communication skills, particularly for networking, coordination, and communication with diverse groups of people -      Demonstrated ability to mentor, both in a one-on-one and a group setting -      Strong written communication skills, experience with reporting and proposal-writing -      Computer skills, word, Excel
