- Create a visual identity to the organization
- Follow up with the designer to implement the visual identity in all visual designs
- Prepare and manage the yearly release of the annual report
- Keep and update the archive of Basmeh and Zeitooneh
- Create and update the website with new ideas\stories
- Follow up with a web admin to make sure the website runs and is updated regularly.
- Follow up with the operations to cover the events\activities\programs running
- Follow up with a field officer to make sure all the events\activities\programs are covered.
- Follow up with the communications officer to make sure our social media platforms are up and running regularly.
- Create videos for fundraises and social media (with the help of the field officer)
- Make decisions on what goes online to present the organization
- Lead the journalists’ visits to make sure most of our programs are covered and are well presented.
The design is divided into two smaller departments:
1- Design department
2- Media department
Tasks in the Design department:
- Following up with the designers for both Syria, Lebanon, and Turkey and making sure things are delivered on time
- Create a visual identity to the organization
- Maintaining the visual identity and making sure it is updated annually
- Translating the ideas into images and graphics that fit into the general vision and mission of B&Z
- Coming up with visual ideas that help the visibility of the projects of B&Z
- Providing the organization with internal communications designs that help build the culture of the organization

Tasks in the Media Department:
- Setting up a communication and media strategy and a policy.
- Keeping a good visibility in the media by keeping a good relationship with the classical media and sending constant press releases.
- Documenting the events happening within the organization
- Keeping an archive of the visual history of the organization
- Working with a field officer to achieve the strategies and policies of the department
- Making sure the online presence and privacy of the beneficiaries are kept and coordinated upon their approval
- Working with a web admin to create\update the website of the organization as per the information provided by the operations department.
