Organization Overview International Medical Corps (IMC) is a global, humanitarian, nonprofit organization dedicated to saving lives and relieving suffering through health care training and relief and development programs. Established in 1984 by volunteer doctors and nurses, International Medical Corps is a private, voluntary, nonpolitical, nonsectarian organization. Its mission is to improve the quality of life through health interventions and related activities that build local capacity in underserved communities worldwide. By offering training and health care to local populations and medical assistance to people at highest risk, and with the flexibility to respond rapidly to emergency situations, International Medical Corps rehabilitates devastated health care systems and helps bring them back to self-reliance. 

  • Contact and coordinate with the selected health facilities/NGOs to set dates for the trainings;
  • Train the staff of the selected health facilities/NGOs on the soft skills and medical content of the CMR multimedia training tool;
  • Train the staff of the selected health facilities/NGOs, on the updated PEP Kit Protocol;
  • Visiting the facilities trained on CMR for supervision and coaching;
  • Ensure that every participant fills in the pre-test on the first day before the training and fills in the post-test on the second day after the training ends;
  • Ensure that every participant fills in the daily evaluation form on the first day and the training evaluation form on the last day (if it is a one-day training, use only the training evaluation form);
  • Ensure that every participant fills and signs the attendance sheet;
  • Track and achieve set targets;
  • Submit all necessary materials to the Monitoring and Evaluation Department to report on the activity;
  • Attend the CMR Task Force meetings and prepare all the needed information to share with the TF;
  • Coordinate with UN Agencies, International and National Actors on CMR related issues;
  • Other duties as coordinated with the GBV Program Coordinator.

Deliverables:

  • Provide a report on the training conducted in the health facilities/NGOs, no later than 1 week from the completion of the training sessions (success stories, challenges, lessons learned, recommendations, etc…)
  • Submit a report detailing findings and recommendations necessary for the improvement of the training or the provision of quality CMR services when needed;
  • Contribute to the quarterly and yearly donor reports on CMR related parts;
  • Submit a monthly timesheet;
  • Data Entry of the daily and final evaluation on the format provided by IMC;
  • Data Entry of the pre/post test scores on a format provided by IMC.

 

  • Minimum Qualifications:
  •  

  • Health or Public Health Background is mandatory;
  • Experience working in, and understanding “GBV in conflict”;
  • Increased knowledge of Health and GBV contexts in Lebanon;
  • Experience in facilitating trainings is mandatory.
