Mh Case Management Support Manager (Repost)

Summary of the Position: The Case Manager Support Manager will work closely with the MHPSS coordinator on all tasks related to MHPSS programming and activity implementation. S/He will be responsible to technically support the MH department in provision of case management services and conducting quality improvement plans. In addition, the case management support manager will support the team in proposal writing ensuring technical quality, relevance and innovation of IMC MHPSS interventions/services in Lebanon. The MH CM Support Manager will be based in Beirut and should conduct weekly visits to Primary heath care centers in all regions (North, Bekaa, South, BML) and take part in IMC field activities as required. Tasks & Responsibilities: I-                   Program Technical support: Monitor performance and quality of programs. Develop a technical oversight plan to case management teams working at the PHCs in coordination with MH Coordinator and MH Technical Advisor. Evaluate compliance with IMC technical standards through field visits, produce recommendations to improve program performance. Contribute to the definition and updating of intervention strategies. Disseminate internal technical standards and reference documents and accompany implementation. Carry out and/or provide input to assessments, baselines studies and evaluations of community-based psychosocial activities; Assist in developing quality control (appropriate methodologies, data collection techniques for assessments, indicators, and evaluations) of mental health specialized services interventions and community-based psychosocial activities; Assist in the process of proposal writing through conducting technical review and suggesting innovative interventions to address MHPSS needs in the community. Take part in program discussions with National Mental Health Programme and provide support as needed. Advocate on all MHPSS-related activities and/or concerns. Provide mental health training sessions to other staff from different IMC departments or other organizations when needed. Take the technical lead on any IMC MHPSS assessment/research prospects or publication that may be developed. AoB related to MHPSS technical assistance when asked by direct supervisor. II-                Developing the technical expertise of field teams: Follow up on the MHPSS capacity building framework for IMC case management teams Provide ongoing training for IMC MHPSS staff using the MHCM training manual and other tools in coordination with the MH management team Develop internal training modules and conduct training modules. III-             Coordination and communication: Attend technical meetings related to MHPSS program on field and central level Provide regular input in the MHPSS task force meetings with partners when needed. Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Psychology or relevant fields. Strong proven knowledge and experience in providing technical support to MHPSS programs in emergency humanitarian settings. Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience (provision of MHPSS services of different levels and MHPSS community-based approaches). Training and clinical supervision experience required. Familiarity with IASC Guidelines on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support in Emergency Settings Fluent in English (speaking & writing) and Arabic Good communication and coordination skills.
