JOB VACANCY Prevention Agent NGO SPECIALIZED IN ADDICTION RECOVERY AND PREVENTION Send CV to info@cdll-lb.org Reports to: Prevention program coordinator Liaises with: Personnel involved in prevention activities Job definition The prevention agent will be participating in the planning, development and implementation of the prevention activities at various levels. Main Responsibilities - To participate in the development of the prevention program’s strategy - To participate in the preparation of the detailed action plan of all prevention activities - To handle the execution of assignments in direct prevention actions - To coordinate with various resources asking for prevention actions in different settings such as schools, universities, NGOs, parishes, governmental agencies, communities, municipalities and other institutions. - To participate in research (microsite and others) - To undertake other responsibilities according to management requirements. Education The candidate should hold a BA in Education, Public Health, Social Work or Psychology. A Master degree is a plus. Experience A minimum of three years experience in jobs related to prevention, life skills, teaching or management in schools, youth counseling, social work, community institutions, NGO programs or educational organizations. Other requirements & skills  Age: 25 and above  Languages: Fluent in Arabic, English and French  Computer skills: Competent in using Word, Excel and Power Point  Excellent communication skills (public speaking and writing) Personal attributes  honest, transparent, patient and humble  team player, creative, multi-task oriented  Strong sense of responsibility and accountability  Hard worker adapting to changing situations Additional Information This position requires some presence in evenings or weekends Contract: Full time
