With headquarters in Washington, DC and Brussels, Belgium, we implement projects from 55 offices in 34 countries, including in Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and the United States. You will be joining other highly motivated Searchers with a good team spirit and through commitment and dedication, have opportunities to grow.   We are searching for… The Videographer will be responsible for shooting, editing, and subtitling 5 videos, aimed at supporting the project’s goals by showing how “AF” Master Facilitators and Community Builders are designing and implementing the initiatives in their communities and the advocacy campaigns, while highlighting how Lebanese and Syrians are working together in harmony. The length of each video should be around 2 – 3 min showing the different initiatives design and implementation in the 5 areas In Lebanon.   The project is a capacity building and social cohesion project, funded by the European Commission, led by the British Council and implemented in Lebanon by Search for Common Ground in partnership with International Alert in Akkar, Tripoli, North Bekaa, Central and West Bekaa, and Saida. The videographer will work closely with the Communications Officer to ensure that the videos are on-time, within budget, and deliver high-quality results. This includes planning, periodic meetings, and sharing the raw footage with the Communications Officer.   Your contribution Under the coordination of the communication department, he/she will be responsible for: Produce a total of 5 short videos between 2 to 3 min in 5 different areas in Lebanon (Akkar, Tripoli, North Bekaa, Central & West Bekaa, and Saida). Working with the Project Team to identify centered stories Work with the Project Team to plan the shooting of the activities organized by Aswat Faeela Work with the Project Team to form an interesting & unique storyboard to highlight the change that impacted the participants and community through their engagement in the project Shoot the activities and participants stories using the best equipment possible Edit the videos, highlighting the stories of the participants as a way to highlight the project’s impact and relevance. Ensure timely shooting, editing, and delivery of the videos by coordinating with communication department Provide insights on the best practices in videography Use an ethical, context and conflict sensitive approach when dealing with the participants and their communities All videos must include English Subtitles You are… You meet the following qualifications: 3 to 5 years’ experience in videography Proficiency in English and Arabic both oral and written Skills Excellent proven shooting and editing skills; Experience in shooting with various cameras and sound equipment; Experience in working with local and international organizations in various environments; Experience in developing and realizing video content about social change; Very good capacity in problem solving; Strong communication skills; Good knowledge of geographically assigned environment Good analytical skills Willingness and ability to be flexible; Rigorous, precise and polite; Excellent inter personnel skills and team spirit;
