Finance Officer/senior Accountant

Main Duties and Responsibilities   The accountant will: Generate and monitor financial statements, Maintain proper recordkeeping of inflows, outflows and receipts, Administer payroll, National Social Security Fund (NSSF) declarations, and income tax declarations, Conduct monthly bank reconciliations, Maintain proper filing of all supporting documentation, Assist external auditors by providing necessary documentation for monthly and year-end review/audit, Coordinate with administrative and program managers ensuring accurate petty cash management, Perform general administrative tasks including organization and filing of donor contracts, HR files, legal paperwork, and employee records, Monitor and maintain an accurate and traceable inventory asset listing, Develop and monitor budgets for core programs and projects, Manage the procurement process including preparation of solicitation documents and bids as required, Manage Microsoft Office 365 SharePoint, Perform other duties as requested by management.   Requirements and Qualifications: ü  Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, ü  Professional experience (at least 3-4 years) in a similar role, ü  Solid accounting and administrative qualifications, ü  Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, ü  Fluency in English and Arabic, French is a plus, ü  Willingness to work in a very poor neighborhood with basic facilities and complex social dynamics, ü  Respect for and adherence to Tahaddi’s core values of justice for all, integrity, compassion and commitment to serve deprived families with empathy and respect. ü  Familiarity with QuickBooks accounting software is a plus.
