Action Against Hunger, an International NGO operating in Lebanon since 2006, is looking for Daily Workers. A final validation is still pending on funding for these positions.  The Daily workers are urgently needed.   GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct Household Assessment under the direction of the team leader (WASH and Hygiene Promotion Officers) using the designated tools REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Familiar with Smartphones and Android devices. Ability and willingness to travel daily to remote areas and villages in Arsal, Western and Central Bekaa( transport from/to the Zahle office organized by Acton Against Hunger) Ability and willingness to work most of the day outside, going from house to house. Experience working with NGO on field duties is a plus Previous experience of research and assessments is a plus   DETAILED OBJECTIVES, TASKS AND TRAININGS Objective 1: under the WASH and Hygiene Promotion Officers Supervision; conduct WASH interviews on designed tools/formats Performing day-to-day data collection activities. Data Collection on community profile questionnaire using Open Data Kit (ODK) Daily data collection from field Collect data from targeted respondents through electronic data collection system (Open Data Kit) on Android tablets. To assist in data filtration and documentation   Objective 2: Record information on the data collecting tool and keep it confidential Conducting confidential data collection activities using a tablet/other tools. Ensuring that all data captured is kept physically secure at all times. Objective 3: Coordination Participate in daily meetings before leaving for field Work closely with WASH for data collection execution Communicate aims and objectives of the study with community and respondents Establish a good understanding of the program within the Community Trainings (during working hours, participation will be mandatory) Data collection Participate on training on Open Data Kit (ODK) Familiarization on data collection tools
