GENERAL OBJECTIVE
The Protection Clerk is responsible for receiving the calls of the hotline and the office line and for welcoming all visitors at PU-AMI office. S/he is also responsible for the correct and timely computerization of all claims received from beneficiaries in the Protection Database.
RESPONSABILITIES AND TASKS
Role and Responsibilities
1. Receptionist
- Answer the calls received through the hotline calls and the office main line;
- Guide and welcome visitors in the office based on visits’ planning;
- Provide audience and visitors with relevant information and with a professional attitude;
- Coordinate office visits with other departments when needed;
- Know and update the internal and external contact lists.
2. Data Entry
- Keep record of calls and claims received through the hotline calls, the office main line and office visits;
- Translate data from Arabic to English and from English to Arabic (if needed);
- Ensure timely and correct data entry of the Phone/Visits logbook in the database;
- Support data entry activities when requested;
- Scan documents when needed and deliver it to the corresponding employee(s);
- Support the PBA PM with the data analysis and the follow up on cases of the Protection Database.
3. Protection case management
- Assess the accuracy of the claim based on short technical assessment;
- Prioritize cases based on short technical assessment and vulnerability assessment;
- Refer externally the cases to relevant organizations when needed;
- Refer internally the cases to relevant department when needed;
- Support the Protection and Basic Assistance Manager in the follow up of the protection cases.

Mandatory requirements
- Language skills: Fluent in English and Arabic, (speaking/reading/writing).
- Education degree: University degree or Technical diploma in a Social Sciences, Protection field.
- Work experience: Experience in NGOs working in Protection project.
- Knowledge and skills: Acquaintance with INGO' rules, procedures and regulations
- Computer skills:
- Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel and Access (Data Manipulation and Report generation)
- Very Good Typing Skills
