Job Purpose:
Act according to the guiding principles of GBV, PwSN and Child Protection case management including: survivor centered approach, respect of confidentiality, prioritize according to safety concerns, ‘do not harm’, ensure a non-discriminatory approach, act according to the best interest of the child, ensure accountability, respect professional boundaries and avoid conflict of interest;
Ensure that protection principles are understood, maintained and enforced;
Provide direct support and care for vulnerable case with protection concerns (including survivors of gender-based violence), including psychosocial support and case management.
Supervise and manage Case Worker team
Generic Duties:
Plan/Coordinate with the FAO and the Case Workers team; and in high risk cases, in consultation with Protection Specialist, to avoid duplication.
Conduct home visits to assess the living conditions of the cases, when needed, and if the child/the survivor/the PoC give her/his consent;
Ensure the provision of emergency cash assistance for the most vulnerable clients, according to the needs of the clients, the agreed criteria and the internal procedures and under the supervision of the FAO and Protection Manager
Be available to participate in meetings and trainings in and outside the centres including case management meetings and case conferences meetings or any other meetings when required
Accomplish any other assignments given by supervisors (FAO) or the PS and PM;
Be available to participate in events, meetings and trainings in and outside the centres including case management meetings and case conferences meetings or any other meetings when required by the Protection Manager
Accomplish any other assignments given by supervisor or the PS International and PM;
Monitoring and Reporting
Provide daily and weekly updates to the Protection Manager and or National Protection officer-CM about new cases assessed as per internal rules;
Elaborate on a monthly basis assessment, monitoring tools and send all case management documents to the Protection officer or Protection Manager each month;
Elaborate and send the weekly report to the FAO, P.O National, P.O International and PM.
Collect the data about cases assessed and assisted by case workers in her/his team to update the internal case tracking sheets (weekly and monthly reporting);
Ensure the effective filing of cases, GBVIMS and other reporting.
Update and report service mapping to Field Officers and Reporting Associate
