Bln Officer

MAIN OBJECTIVE Plan, coordinate, and manage daily BLN educational activities effectively. Main RESPONSABILITIES ⁻     Supervise and monitor the quality of implementation of BLN courses of the teachers. ⁻     Plan and implement education outreach activities: need analysis, focus group discussions, and any other outreach and field activities. ⁻     Have a clear idea about education activities that other institutions working in the same area. ⁻     Ensure timely and quality implementation of the project components, providing technical assistance as needed. ⁻     Ensure the establishment and implementation of operational work plans in the schools, setting clear targets and activity plans per school/programme site. ⁻     Communicate the targets, programme objectives and activity plans clearly to the teachers, ensuring they are well understood. ⁻     Develops and encourages new and innovative solutions. ⁻     Work in close collaboration with the M&E Officer for data analysis. ⁻     Responsible of maintaining the archiving system up to date (both in hardcopies and electronically). ⁻     Report weekly & monthly on activities and results to BLN Coordinator and TVET Project Manager. REPORTING TO BLN Coordinator and TVET Project Manager     STUDIES REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in Education, Development/Humanitarian Studies, Social Science or Information Management. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in an organization. OTHER REQUIREMENTS ⁻   Languages:   Arabic: Excellent       English: Fluent     French: Fluent. ⁻   Excellent computer skills; knowledge of excel and other data entry programmes. ⁻   An understanding of youth education programme. ⁻   Strong organizational and team working skills. ⁻   Good communication and interpersonal skills ⁻   Good cultural awareness and sensitivity. ⁻   Strong documentation, research and report writing skills. ⁻   Knowledge of the NGO operations and the dynamics of the humanitarian sector.
