Staff Health Nurse

Fluent knowledge of English Three years of clinical experience Experience in mental health, stress management Experience in medical evacuation and transportation Knowledge of public health; Flexibility is a must Function description: Assesses and supervises living conditions in the delegations and sub-delegations, promotes standards of general hygiene (housing, hygiene standards of cooks and cleaners, nutritional advice…). Very good understanding of vaccine which include providing information on various vaccines, hand on experience to vaccinate ICRC Staff, explain benefits and side effect of various vaccines to staff , maintaining cold chain for vaccine and stock counting Evaluates medical structures and quality of services provided; identifies and monitors services for referral and treatment of ICRC staff. Provides advice and support to ICRC staff with health problems and accidents when necessary (including emergencies out of the working hours). Provides advice on medical needs of ICRC staff during transportation and coordinate medical evacuations from the field to the capital.  Compiles guidelines and procedures to be followed during medical evacuation of personnel from the field or out of the country. Reviews medical certificate and absence for anonymization and approval and ensures the follow up of referred medical cases. Reports to the regional Staff Health Manager and provide feedback and recommendations on issues related to the health of the staff in the Delegation. Carries out defusing and peer support groups following critical incidents in the field and follow up in case further intervention is required.
