Service Design - Call For Proposal

The Nawaya Network invites proposals from international service design firms interested in partnering with us to use human-centered design to develop a methodology to integrate positive leadership into the youth curriculums, especially the life skills curriculum. The project is expected to start on the 1st of September, 2017 and is expected to run for two months. We are searching for the right partners who are motivated and excited about a co-creation approach to developing content that will truly meet the needs of marginalized Lebanese and non-Lebanese youth. This concretely means that we would like to do the following: 1. Explore and decide how positive leadership could find its place within the regional model of 12 core life skills. A document should explain the proposed way of integrating positive leadership and why. 2. Develop sets of activities for these core life skills that have a link with positive leadership to strengthen youth in order to empower themselves and their communities. The developed sets of activities should be usable in our youth training settings. 3. Seek how ‘learning to know, do, be and live together’ could be strengthened, and develop activities for these. Especially empathy and compassion are of interest. The developed activities should be explained and should be usable in our youth training settings. 4. The findings of the field visits and co-creation workshops should be presented in a document for future reference.  The winning proposals will be selected based on the openness of the providers to bring to market innovative financial services as well as how best they can help us answer our key learning question: How do we design digital products that not only meet any of the wide array of financial services needs of smallholder farming families but also do so in a commercially viable way? The right partner for us is an organization who: Has a track record of service design work and positive leadership; Has already worked on projects with NGOs and/or UN agencies; Has a proven track record of producing learning and/or training curricula; Proposals should be no more than 10 pages. Applicants may be asked to submit further information or prepare a more detailed proposal. A contract will be drafted with the winning providers that will outline the roles, responsibilities and interests of each counterpart before the project begins. Please email contact@nawaya.org with any questions.
