RESPONSIBLE TOWARDS National Site Supervisor

RESPONSIBLE FOR BAC Section searchers  

BASIC FUNCTION: The jobholder will work as a BAC Team Leader for LAMiNDA.

2. DUTIES PERFORMED:  On the daily basis reporting to the National Site Supervisor, The Team Leader will: Carry out the instructions given by the site supervisor. Organization and control of his section. Be responsible for the safe procedures in accordance with the LAMiNDA standard operating procedures. Before and during transportation of personnel and equipment, control that personnel and equipment are secured due to LAMiNDA regulations. Maintenance of discipline and moral within the section. Section report of a daily cleared area record. Every day perform a QA (quality assurance) on the searcher of the working area. Work closely together with Site Supervisor on day to day planing and leading of the team. Stand out as a good example and a role model for the team. Report daily attendance according to routine and ensure that section members are dressed according to standard. Produce proper records & reports on all aspects of operation activities according to demands of LAMiNDA OPS & LMAC. Monitor daily operational and safety routines and ascertain that protective equipment and operational instruments and tools is used correctly. Be directly responsible accountable for the equipment issued to him/her. He/she must ensure that his/her equipment is accounted for, secure and in working order. Taking good care of his/her equipment and maintaining it well daily. Always controlling that his/her and team members equipment is serviceable and functioning. Reporting any malfunctions or damages to equipment immediately to the Site Supervisor. Expect to participate in training before,under and during the operational phase. Be updated with information related to UXO/ERW. Carry out any instructions given to him by a superior expediently and in a safe manner. Report fit and on time for work.

3. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Lebanese national. Arabic literate. 3 to 5 years previous experience in similar position. Mental and physical fitness. High degree of attention is required to secure the safety of on self, colleagues and  others. Courteous treatment of and assistance to all LAMiNDA staff and visitors. Able to work under stress. Good conduct.
