RESPONSIBLE TOWARDS Senior Medic RESPONSIBLE FOR Field staff
1. BASIC FUNCTION: The jobholder will work as medic for LAMiNDA operations.
2. DUTIES PERFORMED: Provide technical backup, from a medical perspective, for field activities, as required. Perform daily control of ambulance and medical equipment and ensure that ambulance is ready at all times. Assist the MC in maintaining reporting mechanisms and producing proper records and reports on all aspects of medical activities according to the demands of LMAC The medics are to be able to carrying out their duties in the manner devised in training. This includes being correctly dressed at all times and that they have the appropriate equipment available. They are to be certified in accordance with all applicable requirements LMAC They are ultimately responsible for their own safety and welfare and they are to ensure that they are adequately equipped and briefed before starting work. They are to be active in encouraging and facilitating the flow of information upwards from working teams to management. Plan and execute medevac exercises together with Team Leaders, SS and MC. The Paramedic shall always be present and alert at the team/ambulance during working hours. Administer the Visitors Log in the Task Dossier and register all visitors to the site/minefield/cluster field. Attend compulsory training courses. Report fit and on time for work. A medic should be aware of the physical well-being of their team at all time during operations.
3. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Holding a Lebanese nationality Literate Arabic Knowledge of spoken English Trained Nurse/Para Medic High degree of attention is required to secure the safety of others and prevent damage to vehicles when driving on public roads. Courteous treatment of and assistance to visitors.
