Consultant Psychiatrist - Chatila

Under the technical supervision of the Protection Program Manager and the supervision of the center coordinator, the consultant psychiatrist will support the project implementation through the following: Organize data concerning patient's family, medical history, and onset of symptoms obtained from patient, relatives, and other sources, such as nurse and general practitioners; Examine patients to determine general condition, following standard procedures such as ordering diagnostic tests and prescribing necessary medication; Determine nature and extent of mental illness, and create treatment plan relying on psychotherapeutic methods; Keep track of case codes through B&Z internal documentation forms and report cases agenda on a monthly basis; Attend technical monthly meetings with the rest of the protection program team Coordinate with the Clinical Social Worker and Case Manager for technical support and follow up of referred cases;
