Assistant Field Officer

Brief description Polish Center for International Aid (PCPM) is a Polish organization that works with displaced refugees in multiple sectors such as shelter, health and non-food items. The field officer should be responsible for tasks related to the selection and monitoring of the beneficiaries.   Tasks Assess the housing and socio-economic conditions and/ or threat of eviction in individual housing in order to recommend actions to be taken. Ensure regular flow of updated information. Document the information collected from the field by observing and interviewing refugees assisted/ to be assisted for context understanding and analysis. Field activity reporting and documenting. Other tasks provided by the Team Leader.   Qualifications and requirements Educational level - minimum high school degree.    Valid driving license. Good communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills; team player; flexibility in timing Computer proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is a plus Proficiency in Arabic and English.   Competencies Previous experience in humanitarian organization with similar scope of work will be considered an asset   Familiarity with computer databases and mobile data collection via tablets      Strong ability to work in a team, organize work, meet deadlines, maintain composure, prioritize work under pressure, coordinate multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.   Comfortable in a multi-cultural environment.     Other: Good knowledge of Beirut and Mount Lebanon governorate geography. Great mobility and willingness to work at field level (80% or the work will be in the field)
