Research Assistant

LebMASH is currently requiring a research assistant with previous experience in data collection for a study that seeks to examine the attitudes and behaviours of healthcare providers towards LGBT patients in Lebanon.    *The research assistant will be responsible for the following tasks:   1- Collect data through paper-pencil versions.   2- Conduct face-to-face semi-structured interviews with healthcare providers in Lebanon.   3- Travel to different areas in Lebanon to meet with healthcare providers for research purposes.   4- Enter the data to the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS).   5- Clean and manage the data set in preparation for analysis.    *Qualifications needed:    1- Previous research experience in data collection.   2- Completion of a research methodology university course.   3- Able to travel to different locations in Lebanon.   4- Able to work independently while reporting to the project manager.    5- Able to communicate verbally and in writing using English and Arabic. French is a plus.   Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted 2 weeks following the date of this posting.    The successful candidate will be recruited for the month of July and will be expected to work for a period of 1 month.    Part time Job - 20 hours per week
