NTP Nurse - Karantina

In particular, he/she will have the following tasks:

Provide clinical care for all the patients arriving at the NTP center including but not limited to taking vital signs and administering PPD test.
Provide assistance to physicians in NTP center.
Create medical records for new cases, update records for the follow up ones and ensure proper archiving of the medical files.
Abide by the guidelines and clinical practices of the National Tuberculosis Program (NTP).
Facilitate the transport of sputum samples and other specimens types between the NTP center and Karantina center and/or other locations as instructed.
Inform DOT workers about any new cases that need follow up.
Facilitate the transfer of patients to sanatorium.
Participate in assessments/surveys of the beneficiaries’ health needs and needs of the supported NTP center.
Assist the NTP center manager in supervision and evaluation of the staff members on a regular basis to ensure proper completion of assigned tasks.
Participate actively in outreach activities in coordination with NTP manager.
Perform such other duties as may be assigned
