Pharmacist - Ntp

Under the overall supervision of Chief of Mission and Chief Medical Officer, and under the direct supervision of NTP Coordinator assisted by Technical Officer for HIV/AIDS and TB, the Pharmacist will be responsible to ensure the efficient and effective quality control of medical supplies and equipment to deliver to implementation sites in Lebanon.   Key Duties/Responsibilities:   In charge of Stock level in Beirut, provide the drugs,  medical supplies  upon requisition of TB centers/ field coordinators and partners after coordination with NTP manager.    Responsible for the drug supplies In coordination with  NTP manager. Responsible of the stock records. Monitor drugs supplies consumption and storage of supplies. Store and  display in alphabetical order the medical drugs, for easy identification in Lebanon Documents medication dates on the stock cards and other data in Beirut; Keeps records of expiration dates in MHD Storage in Beirut Provides report on monthly inventory of store in Beirut Makes sure the drugs, consumables are stored well in acceptable temperatures Makes sure all the expired drugs are reported to NTP manager and TB/HIV technical officer and properly kept for disposal in accordance with MOPH guidelines for disposal Assist teams in field to keep track of their stock for medical drugs and medical supplies. Collects monthly reports on medical drugs consumption from field medical teams and designated focal points Provide regular monthly reports to NTP manager and TB/HIV technical officer. Conducts TDY missions to NTP centers to observe the storage conditions of drugs.

• Trained and qualified Pharmacist from a recognized institution.
• Knowledge of weights and measures used in pharmaceuticals
• Experience in drug dispensing and reporting.
• Computer literate.
• Knowledge of French/English and Arabic.
