Under the general guidance of the FAP Program Manager and the direct supervision of the FAP Integration Coordinator (programmatically) and the team leader in Chtoura (administratively), the incumbent will be based in Chtoura and will be responsible for delivering Integration classes for successful Syrian asylum applicants accepted for family reunification in Germany. The successful applicant will be responsible for:
Delivering 2-hours integration training sessions for Syrians bound for Germany;
Develop and keep updated training materials, including visuals, and related activities to support the curriculum;
Support the FAP Integration Coordinator with other inputs required for donor reports;
Contribute to the improvement of the curriculum and teaching methods and materials;
Undertake self-directed research aimed at improving overall understanding of integration challenges for new arrivals bound for Germany;
Maintain a professional appearance and migrant-friendly demeanour at all times;
Maintain positive working relationships with German Embassy staff locally;
Inform management of any problems or issues immediately and regularly make suggestions on how to improve efficiency and service;
Maintain a positive working relationship with staff members within the FAP and with external counterparts involved with the processing of this caseload;
Maintain and ensure confidentiality of all FAP-related matters, in accordance with guidelines and instructions;
Take active steps to mitigate fraud and malfeasance, and to monitor the integrity of records containing individual data;
Perform any other duties as may be assigned.

Experience
