Filmmaker To Conduct, Film, Edit Series Of Six Short Interviews (Jun-Jul 2017)

Call for videographer for short-term assignment (June-July 2017)   Sharq is producing a collection of personal narratives based on interviews with residents of Lebanon about their livelihoods. The collection of 18 interviews aims to explore the challenges and opportunities faced in relation to entrepreneurship and employment in the country.   Six of the interviews are to be video-recorded and as such, Sharq is looking to hire a consultant (or team) with strong experience producing short interview-based documenatries. Candidiates must possess the following: - oral fluency in Arabic - experience interviewing for film - experience directing, producing, editing short films - own or access to equipment to undertake the assignment   The expected final output is six short films of 2-4 minutes each. Each will be based on an interview with a resident of Lebanon about opportunitis and challenegs related to employment and entrepreneurship. Sharq wil advise the consultant in advance about the topics and questions to be raied during interview.   Interested candidates should apply by: - sending a CV or company portfolio - sending in a package quote for the entire assignment - sending in a brief action plan / timeline to ensure the assignment is comeplete and all deliverables are finalised by mid-July 2017 The successful candidiate will be informed and contract signed by 9 June and work can begin as soon as possible thereafter.   Only candidiates who send in all three items requested above will be considered.
